Bonfire 你我之間(2026)
As part of the Esplanade eXchAnge, a performance created through encounter.
We put out an open call and invited new bodies into the room. Over four days of intensive devising, we explored movement, presence and collective creation.
What emerged was an extraordinary piece — shaped by the people who came, the bodies they brought and what we discovered together.
A constellation of bodies in motion, in song, living at the edge of becoming.
A portal opens into a world where the boundaries between self and other begin to dissolve.
An invitation into the unknown.
An encounter—from “encontrer” (Old French), to stand face to face with something or someone—here becomes a meeting with one’s own sense of aliveness.
This physical theatre performance emerges from Dao-inspired theatre practices, exploring the invisible dance between form and formlessness, structure and surrender, control and release.
